Time-Based Common Operating Picture
As with most systems the value comes in the end-users ability to understand the data coming in from the sensors. Our approach utilizes the Q, developed by ISS, that contains two primary applications for understanding the sensor data. Utilizing a geo-temporal common operating picture with time-coherent visualizations of multi-INT data products and blue force tracking information called Q-View the user can quickly understand the current and past status of the sensors and analytics while overlaying other data feeds as needed to support the threat level. Q-View is the primary common operational picture for Joint Joint Program Executive Office (JPEO-CBRN).

The Q-Command (or Q-CMD) tool provides the user a near real-time information management and collaboration environment. Q-Command streamlines the users ability to analyse and manage critical incidents while offering a high level overview of situational awareness within the Region of Interest.

Q-Trends
The third product in the Q suite provides is through an application based on open-source technology called Q-Trends that archives the sensor feeds and provides real-time trending and storage of the information. Q-Trends provides the ability to visualize the RAW data or summary charts and uses a common time frame for all charts allowing the analyst to quickly compare various visualizations across the entire dataset. With both capabilities hosted within the Q it means the radiation system can be quickly deployed to any location and begin providing processed information within hours of arrival on site.
